Shop.org is the next big event on the Narvar calendar. We’re excited to head out to Las Vegas to listen to Serena Williams’ keynote and check out some Fast Company future of retail sessions. Las Vegas has become a luxury shopping destination thanks in large part to the impressively curated shops at Caesars Palace and The Venetian. Whether you sign up for the guided pre-conference tour or stop by on your own, we’ve picked out a few stores in and around each location that you’ll want to make sure to stop by.
The Forum Shops at Caesars PalaceWhen you think of going to a mall, you aren’t likely to expect classical architecture, a Fall of Atlantis animatronic show, a 50,000-gallon aquarium, and hundreds of the world’s most exclusive brands under one roof. But that’s all a big part of what attracts visitors to The Forum Shops. Upscale brands calling the Forum home include Fendi, Balenciaga, M Missoni, and Louis Vuitton. All Saints has recently opened a 12,000-square-foot flagship at the Forum Shops. Inside you’ll find hundreds of screens immersing visitors in a content-driven All Saints brand experience. The Grand Canal Shoppes at The VenetianI’ve found that a gondola ride is a great way to plan your shopping stops when you visit the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. Notable shops include Barney’s, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, and Jimmy Choo. This is also a great place for a romantic dinner at Canaletto, under a faux Venetian night sky.M&M’s® WorldIf your idea of heaven is a rainbow of M&Ms sorted by color, this should be your first stop. Coke fans can find just about anything at the Coca-Cola Store Las Vegas to show off their love for the brand.[/caption]Coca-Cola® Store Las VegasIf you’re a die-hard Coca-Cola fan, this is your chance to take a selfie with the Coca-Cola polar bear, try 16 unique international Coca-Cola flavors, and get your hands on exclusive new and vintage memorabilia.
Once you head a little bit off the beaten path, that’s when Las Vegas shopping gets really interesting. Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor WorldWhether you’re an outdoors enthusiast or a natural history museum fan, the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Las Vegas is worth a stop. Combining wildlife museum-style displays with aquariums and taxidermy, the space feels like a vast hunting lodge where you just happen to be able to purchase pretty much anything you might need for your next outdoor adventure.[caption id="attachment_2966" align="aligncenter" width="480"]

In addition to the shops—including Vintage LV, Kappa Toys, and The Gambler’s Store—restaurants, and wedding chapel, Container Park also hosts concerts and The Dome, a 4K-visual and music dome entertainment experience.[caption id="attachment_2968" align="aligncenter" width="290"]
The art of repurposing: These former cigarette vending machines now offer patrons a selection of palm-sized art.[/caption]Art-O-Mat®If you grew up after the ‘70s, you probably don’t remember the ubiquity of the cigarette vending machine. For those who do, there’s an interesting mix of nostalgia and joy in seeing these mid-century modern designs turned into art dispensers instead of nicotine in Art-o-Mat machines scattered through The Cosmopolitan Hotel. Exotic PetsWhenever I watch BBC nature specials, I can’t help thinking (or saying aloud to my partner) “I want one of those!” Unfortunately, California doesn’t allow you to have sugar gliders, porcupines, hedgehogs, ferrets, and so many more adorable small animals as pets. In Las Vegas, on the other hand, you can go to Exotic Pets and pet or purchase a wide variety of animals—from cuddly to venomous—you probably never considered as pets.
Although e-commerce is growing quickly, these unique shops are great examples of how immersive and customer-first physical stores can get customers in the door.
